WB 30 History Resource & Cold War

How God rewarded alms with the ability to move mountains.Today we studied another hero of the faith, Robert Gilmour LeTourneau inventor of the bulldozer and other heavy equipment that advanced technology in this century. We looked at his life seeing the struggles at the beginning then how God greatly blessed him.His life story is so encouraging. When he died he was a multi-millionaire that kept 10% for himself and gave the rest to God.He offered chapel service in his plants and most of the 90% went to missions and organizations.Christ truly blessed his faithfulness. We looked at how he & his wife stepped out in faith when times were not easy.He lived through the great depression etc.Even with all his wealth this a a quote from Mr.LeTourneau,"Evelyn and I find our greatest reward in fact that our sons and daughter are carrying on the principles we believe in with our grandchildren. His heartfelt reward from God was not his wealth for he seen himself as a tool (businessman) that was given money to provide for the work of the Lord but the true reward was his children loving Christ. He was a cool guy and I am so glad we were introduced to this saint through the Wisdom Booklets.
************We then continued our study on the Cold War and this week we watched the moody film Animal Kingdom and being in awe of God's creation. This was a recommend film from Considering God's Creation. It was not about animal classification but the animals were grouped in order for examples interesting birds etc.We always enjoy the Moody's films especially the fact they give glory to the creator after all we are creation scientist :O)
