Today we continued the Science Resource 6-10. This was the part of the resource that tied in with our verse & major concept.They learned the danger and immediate attention a nuclear power plant needs with any signs of a change and the need to respond ASAP before a nuclear reaction occurs.
We then used this as a analogy to agreeing quickly with thine adversary. Jesus taught in parables so I love learning about science and history as a tool to teach spiritual truths which is why I love the Wisdom Booklets. I pray they are wise and have the wisdom in life's situations (character focus) and deal with any problems or responsibilities right away. Agreeing quickly requires wisdom & humility.
Then we continued our Civil War study doing lesson 12 in the Civil War Time Travelers series focusing on the battles of Gettysburg and Vicksburg.We plan to take a field trip to Gettysburg & watch the movie this weekend.
Today we learned about and made Civil War Corps Badges. Daniel's is on the right. He placed his badges in his notebook and drew a picture of a union soldier.
